Personal Information That You Provide to Us
We do not collect personally identifiable information about individual users except when individual users voluntarily provide such information to us. If you choose to provide personally identifiable information to us (e.g., your name, email address, and zip code), we will not share it with or otherwise disclose it to others except as set out below or when you have otherwise authorized us to do so (for example, by signing a public document such as a pledge or a petition).
Use of Information
We use our websites to respond to requests for information and for fundraising, among other purposes. We may use this information to contact your regarding your specific request or activity, and we may share this information with third-parties as necessary to fulfill your request or conduct that activity, such as charging a donation. In addition to collecting the personal information that you may choose to provide, we may also collect standard Web server traffic pattern information generated by your use of our Sites. General traffic, site usage, and length of stay information may be collected and stored in log files. This type of information is shared externally only on an aggregated basis.

Constitutional Accountability Center appreciates and will accept online contributions via credit card. Contributors will be asked to submit contact information for verification purposes. In accordance with the recommendations of the PCI Security Standards Council, only the first and last four digits of a contributor’s credit card number will be stored. A contributor’s information will be transmitted through an encrypted connection for processing.
